Time spent as a participant, leader, instructor, and advocate for outdoor access has fueled his passion and dedication to ensure all have the opportunities to HAV Adventures.

“HAV” is our acronym for hills and valleys. And it is our understanding that our lived experiences, challenges, and triumphs emulate the natural environment. The highs and lows, and its ups and downs directly translate to overcoming barriers, everyday struggles, and past trauma in our lives.

As an outdoor professional Alex Baily has worked in outdoor education for over 15 years.
After receiving a Masters in Wilderness Therapy, he has served his community through the lens of comprehensive therapy in outdoor settings to inspire others to heal and grow.

We each have lived experience and understand the hills and valleys of circumstances such as trauma, lack of access, and homelessness and the integral role that connection to the outdoors can have in our lives.
Our programs are designed to bring the benefits of outdoor recreation, and adventure together with comprehensive and meaningful curriculum that all can enjoy.
Our core values of Inclusivity, Opportunity, Leadership, Stewardship, and Connection help guide us on our outings and create long term ripple effects throughout the community.
